Factory Explosion kills 3 and injures 4 in East china

An investigation is underway at a chemical plant in the Nanhu district of Jiaxing. The explosion took place on Wednesday night according to the district information officer. The blast claimed the lives of three factory workers while four more were left with injuries.
The accident happened late Wednesday night when a reaction kettle exploded and triggered a fire in a chemical plant in the Nanhu district according to the city fire service. Despite their efforts, two of the seven workers trapped died on the scene upon rescue and a further worker died after treatment failed. The remaining four workers were transfered to hospital for further treatment said the fire-fighters.
The blaze was finally put out at 11pm on Wednesday just under two hours after it began.
