Families of two men killed in a factory explosion call for better workplace safety

Derek Timbers and Barry Joy who died in a factory explosion in Norwich

An inquest has found there was poor training and inadequate risk assessments at a factory in Norwich where two men died in an explosion.

After nearly two weeks of evidence, a jury has recorded a narative conclusion into the deaths of Barry Joy and Daniel Timbers at Harford Attachments in July 2015.

The families of the two men are now calling for more to be done to improve safety in the workplace.
